The Ghost Of Weimar: Hyperinflation Returns To Germany

Financial news aggregator First Squawk tweeted out a headline which will not sit well with Germans.

Germany is unique among First World nations in that it experienced severe hyperinflation during the inept Weimar Republic. Much of the German insistence on trade surpluses and austere fiscal budgets stems from the collective memory of that period.

And now the new generation is getting a taste of hyperinflation first hand.
