It's one thing for GoFundMe to refuse to allow the Freedom Convoy to use the platform. It's quite another for it to say it will, on its own initiative, distribute funds raised by the Freedom Convoy to “credible and established charities.”
GoFundMe officially cancelled the Freedom Convoy fundraiser on Friday and plans to distribute the remaining $9million of donated funds to 'credible and established charities'.
GoFundMe has no right to redirect funds in this fashion. They should release the funds to the Freedom Convoy or return the funds to the donors. Refunds should not need to be “requested”.
GoFundMe is guilty of theft and fraud by doing this.

We should all call the credit card company and request a refund for unfulfilled services. This way credit card companies impose a $25 fine on the offender.
